Using concrete is indeed a unique way to make a stair just like what we can see in the Elizabeth Street New Zealand. It’s quite interesting to see their methodology in creating this one!

19. Commercial Building Transformation to Residential Space
This space is a renovation of a commercial space as the owners transformed its usage as a residential home. They added a lofted area which can be accessed through a black steel staircase.

This one has a masculine appeal in it because of its usage of stainless steel and black treads. It looks even nicer because of the orange and red walls in the interior.

The owners of this house were pleased with the outcome of their home designed by Cantoni. One favorite feature of this beach house is the glass and stainless steel spiral staircase that you can see here. Because of its materials, it added more light and sheen to the interior.

This staircase is a showpiece in a loft house. It is complete with open rise maple treads that are stained dark and round stainless spindles. It is designed with a flared bottom and 2 swooping rail that returns to the floor. It also features a curved support heel that accentuates the look and also gives it a freestanding capability.

These are all lovely! This list actually makes me think of adding a modern spiral stair in my home. Although Feung Shui does not approve of this because it will make the homeowners feel less safe and secure, many people still prefer to use them. Well, one reason could be that not everyone believes in Feng Shui. Another good reason is that the space really deserves this swirling beauty that ascends to the next level of the home. But if you are not a fan of this, you can always use the conventional stairs.
